PART I: THE BEGINNING:
Born to TARANAH RAZAVIAN, an Ul'dahn merchant lord, Zahra grew up surrounded by wealth and splendour. While this would seem like a life of luxury, her mother never saw her as a person. In her mother's eyes, Zahra was an investment — a token to sweeten the deal with a future business partner. She lived the life of an exotic pet, kept and trained to suit her owner's needs. That was until the reinstatement of THE IMMORTAL FLAMES. Upon this movement, TARANAH learned that this could greatly increase Zahra's value with one simple move: Acknowledging Zahra's biological father, MALACHI JAHANGIR. The first time Zahra met him was terrible. Her mother orchestrated the meeting while puppeteering Zahra to get her to try to manipulate the man. His stoic nature didn't give much away, besides the disgust he felt towards her mother and the genuine pity he felt for his daughter. Only, the pity wasn't for the reasons her mother made her list, but rather for knowing the nature of Zahra's situation. With the pitch having failed and knowing how her mother would punish her for it, Zahra took her chance and went off-script. She wanted to get to know her Father, and perhaps taste the freedom it would afford her. To an extent it worked, she was allowed to see him more often taking time to get to know not only him but herself too.
PART II: WEDDING BELLS:
The freedom Zahra had found was short-lived, as her mother had found her a suitable groom. Said groom being an elderly Lalafell with the ability to greatly reduce the cost of materials that her mother's business required. Knowing Zahra would react poorly to this news, her mother never told her until the day of the ceremony of bonding where she was forced into a gown by her maids.Upon realising what was happening and who she was being married to, Zahra fled from her chambers narrowly avoiding the claws of her guards. The pursuit spilled out onto the streets of Ul'dah, Zahra ducking and weaving through the crowds in the busier streets while the guards closed in from behind. Seeing she wouldn't escape she resorted to choosing who she would be caged by... and took a swing at a patrolling Brass Blade, breaking her fist on his mask. This resulted in the Brass Blades swiftly arresting her, and when they asked who to contact regarding her arrest, she requested her father, MALACHI. She waited a day in the holding cell, refusing to leave with her mother. Then finally he came to get her out, dragging her away from her mother's claws.
PART III: MONTAAAAAAAGE:
Zahra had won her freedom at the cost of a few bones in her fist and her dignity, but it was a price she was happy to pay. The matter now was finding her way... and dealing with MALACHI who was adamant she learned how to defend herself. Luckily the taste of the sense of invulnerability that came with learning how to break free from and disable an attacker led to the discovery of something she enjoyed and had an affinity for - swinging a big sword around.Perhaps inspired by her father, but also wanting to test her own mettle, Zahra began to take interest in the Immortal Flames. Seeing this interest MALACHI stepped up, training her so she would not only survive if she did join, but thrive. The training was tough, but she pushed through it and continued to grow.By the time she finally joined the Immortal Flames, she was far from the slender marionette that her mother once puppeteered but now stood as a tall and strong woman. She was her own person, she was Zahra Razavian - No, Zahra Jahangir.
PART IV: CARTENEAU:
Whenever things seem to be going well, they always take a turn for the worst... and this time it was the Battle of Carteneau. Being basic infantry, Zahra found herself in the middle of the battlefield thrown against the Garlean forces. In her position, there was very little to see. It was a fog of dust, ash, aether and steel. She could barely see those around her until they were on top of her. The majority of those she was fighting beside had fallen when a blast from a Magitek Walker impacted them, so she was alone and things weren't looking good.Their numbers on the field were growing thin when the air around them took on an angry orange hue, they felt the searing heat. Then it hit her, the searing cold burning through her back and igniting every bone in her body, her vision filling with a blinding light until the world fell away from her.

PART V: The End:
She awoke suddenly, her heart racing, choking as she couldn't get air into her lungs fast enough. All she could hear was her heartbeat in her ears as she pulled at her wrists, finding them bound to the metal frame of her bed. She saw a small hand try to get her attention and followed it to a Lalafell medic trying to get her attention. Zahra froze as she watched the medic placed a pack on the bed, and threw a cloak at Zahra. As her hearing started to settle she heard the Lalafell explain that she was sick... and that it had been decided that she was to be euthanised for her dignity and the safety of all those around her. The Lalafell finally unlocked the cuffs that kept her bound to the bed and wrapped the cloak around Zahra's shoulders, pulling the hood up.Zahra swung the pack over her shoulders and got to her feet, wobbling as fast as she could after the Lalafell. As she passed the private rooms she spied MALACHI lying on a bed, their eyes meeting briefly before she had to continue on. She wanted to stay, she wanted to say goodbye... but she had to keep moving if she wanted to live. He'd understand once he found the report, at least she hoped... After what felt like hours of moving from shadow to shadow in little more than a hospital gown, a pair of boots and a cloak, she finally fled out into the wilds of Thanalan.Over the months following her sickness started to eat at her. It started with small things, the loss of her sense of taste, her emotions starting to dim... then came the waves of agony making her relive the moment she was hit by whatever had caused it. If they were so keen to quietly put her down as if she were an animal... then it must have meant there was no cure. With no hope left to cling to, she started her journey towards La Noscea. She wanted to pass feeling wild grasses on her back, next to the sea she had heard so much about. She made it, barely. Her vision was nearly completely gone, replaced with a white glow. Her body felt stiff and heavy... It was time. She crumpled into the grasses atop a cliff. The sensation of touch was long gone, as was her sense of smell... but she knew she was where she wanted to be and let her eyes close for the final time.
PART VI: REAWAKENING:
Pain, warmth, wetness, copper, light - She could feel, taste, see. "Z-Zahra?" She could hear a voice... her father's voice? Everything shook - No she was being shaken. Then warmth again, was she being held?As her vision focused she could see him, only his hair was streaked with grey. She reached out to touch him but froze as she saw her once olive skin was now pale and marked with deep channels. "What--?" She asked in confusion. Pain, burning, her throat. Then everything started to fade once more but this time to darkness, warm, comforting, darkness. She didn't know how much time had passed when she finally awoke once more, this time to find an exhausted Au'ra woman and her father sitting beside her. The woman turned out to be her father's wife, and the one responsible for her 'restoration'. Zahra listened as they explained that nearly a decade had passed since she fled Ul'dah and the world she knew had changed greatly. There was a lot to learn, but she wasn't alone anymore.
PART VII: STEPPING INTO THE PRESENT:
Once she had regained her strength she stepped back out into the world, only to be grabbed by a group who claimed to be her friends and colleagues from the time she couldn't remember. Their evidence was the tattoo that now adorned her shoulder, a mark of loyalty to their company. While in the state she dubbed 'The Haze' she had somehow been picked up by a Yakuza group. Seeing as their work seemed to fund good causes such as a train that acted as a sanctuary for people seeking shelter, she agreed to continue working for them. That was until they came into possession of a device that could wipe the memories of a being and chose to keep it rather than destroy it. Not agreeing with the idea, she took the device and left the group. One does not simply quit the Yakuza, and is now having to watch her back for them.Finding herself needing employment she got a job as her Father's Assistant, her father MALACHI JAHANGIR now known as MALACHI BLOODFORGED who is a Flame Marshall.Upon getting her new job, her mother was able to try to latch onto her once more trying to force marriage on her. She's even been going as far as hiring men to kidnap her and drag her to the alter. Not everything is fifty shades of awful, she managed to fall in love and settle into a happy life with her partner, SEBB TEMPREN and his other partner, ARITYA DRAEOR and their pet seal, PEP.
